Who we are
This website is operated by Hayward Accountancy Services Limited (“we”, “us”), Unit 11a Bow Court, Fletchworth Gate Industrial Estate, Coventry CV5 6SP. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy matters by calling 07538 539716 or writing to the address above.
What information we collect
When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), the type of business you run and anything you include in your message. Like most websites, our server may also record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, for security and to keep the site running properly.
How we use your information
We use the details you send us to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or the performance of a contract where you engage us. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Clients
If you become a client, we will explain how we handle your personal and financial information in our engagement letter. This includes our obligations under anti-money laundering regulations and HMRC record-keeping rules.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where necessary: with trusted service providers who host this website and our email, with HMRC, Companies House or other bodies when acting on your instructions, or where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as required by law and professional guidance, which is usually at least six years.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and to keep it secure. If we add analytics or embedded content that sets other cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, please contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
