Meet Paul Hayward
Our story
Big-business finance experience, personal small-business service
Paul founded Hayward Accountancy Services in 2011 with a simple aim: to give owner-managed businesses the kind of clear, commercially minded financial support that larger organisations take for granted.
Before setting up the practice, Paul was Finance Manager at Severn Trent Services, where he spent five years managing reporting, budgets and cash within a large, fast-moving operation. He brings that same discipline to every client, whether you’re a sole trader filing your first tax return or a growing limited company.
Paul’s particular strengths are helping SMEs through difficult cash-flow problems and advising on tax efficiency, so you keep more of what you earn and have the confidence to plan ahead.
Paul trained locally at Tile Hill College before earning a BA (Hons) in Accountancy & Business from the University of Sunderland. He knows Coventry and its business community well.

Part of the community
Rooted in Coventry, on and off the pitch
Paul has given many years to grassroots rugby in Coventry. He served as Chairman and later Treasurer of the Mini & Junior section at Earlsdon RFC, looking after the club’s finances and helping provide a safe, welcoming environment for young players and their families.
He is also Mini & Junior Chairman for Warwickshire RFU and has coached with North Warwickshire RFU, helping young players progress through a development pathway. It’s the same commitment to teamwork, respect and doing things properly that he brings to his clients.
